Paula Broutman, President
After a long career as a Catering Director in Chicago, Paula joined the family business in 2010. She started out helping the company with Sales & Marketing and is in the process of transitioning into her new role as President of Performance Plus. In addition to her responsibilities at the company, Paula is very active in the Merrillville Chapter of BNI as well as the Crossroads & Lakeshore Chambers of Commerce. Paula also serves as a committee member for Meals on Wheels of Northwest Indiana. Paula is a graduate of Indiana University, Bloomington. Paula has been married to her husband, Jay for over 9 years and they have three children. paula@performancep.com
Michael Saks, Vice-President
Michael is the vice-president Performance Plus. He has been involved in the cleaning business for over 40 years. Michael also has had experience in a wide variety of other businesses over the years but his chief concern has always been janitorial service. Michael is also a graduate of Indiana University and attended the University of Chicago’s Graduate MBA program. In addition to his busy schedule he has been heavily involved with the Boys and Girls Club over that last 20 years. In the past, Michael has also been involved as president of the Merrillville Rotary and the Crossroads (Merrillville) Chamber of Commerce. Alan Saks, General Manager, Gary
Alan is the general manager of the Gary Operations of our company. A few years after Alan served in Vietnam he joined forces with his brother Michael and has remained with the company as part owner for over 30 years. Alan is known as the “go-to-guy”. Being the first one in the door at 4:30 am and the last one out at 4:30 pm he is definitely considered the pulse of the daily Gary operation. Along with his busy schedule at work he found time to serve as a Rotarian for 14 years. Alan has been married for over 40 years to his wife Honora and has four grandchildren. alan@performancep.com
Joan Wickstrom, Controller
Joan is the Controller and Office Manager of the accounting department of Peformance Plus. She has been in the accounting field for over 15 years with experience in both managerial and clerk positions. After putting herself through college part-time Joan graduated from Purdue University with highest distinction. Joan has been married to her husband John for over 10 years and has two sons that keep her busy at home. joan@performancep.com
Frank Wieczorek, Director of Sales & Marketing
Frank has been in the commercial cleaning industry for 32 years. He started as a cleaning person /floor man and worked his way up through the ranks. He graduated from Indiana University with a B.S. in Business with a major in Marketing. His hobbies include reading, running, and camping, among others. Frank lives in South Bend with his lovely wife Dawn and his two step son Chris and Ryan. frank@performancep.com
Terry Morse, General Manager, South Bend/Michigan City
Terry is the General Manager of the South Bend, Michigan City and Indianapolis divisions. Terry has been in the janitorial service business for 25 years. He joined our company in November of 2002 when we acquired his existing janitorial business. Terry was involved in the Exchange Club for 15 years, which is a charity organization that deals with the disabled. He also played college basketball for 2 years at Drake University in Iowa. terry@performancep.com
Karen Udoltz, Quality Control, Gary
Karen is the quality control manager for the Gary Janitorial operations. She rejoined our company in August of 2005. Karen worked for the Gary operation as office manager for 10 years during the 90’s. In addition to her role in our Quality Control department, Karen wears many hats within the company, helping with human resources, client relations and employee training. Diana Michau, Accounts Receivable
Diana has been with our company for nearly 3 years. She has over 15 years of experience in A/R. Diana has been an asset to our team from day one. Her collecting and organizational skills are exceptional! She is a mother of one with four grandchildren. Ed Rivera, Operations Manager, South Bend
Ed Rivera has been with our company since 2002 when we purchased the South Bend operation. Ed brings with him over 25 years of janitorial experience. He worked his way from an entry level janitor to the South Bend Operations Manager position. Ed was born in Puerto Rico then around the age of three his family migrated to Chicago. In his spare time he likes to exercise and spend time with family. He has been married to his wife Michelle for over 10 years. Ed has one daughter “Bella” and two grown sons. ed@performancep.com
Betty Hannon, Operations Manager, Indianapolis
Betty Hannon AKA “Miss Betty” is the operations manager for our Indianapolis branch. Betty has been with the company since 1994 and has survived many management changes. Before joining our company she worked at RCA for 36 years. Betty is our “go-to” person at the Indy branch. Nothing stops her from getting a job done. Sharolyn Battle, Operations Manager, Gary
Sharolyn has been an asset to our company for over 9 years. In 2010 Sharolyn was promoted to Operations Manager of the Gary branch. With over 30 years of experience in the service industry, Sharolyn brings a wealth of knowledge to the job sites every day. She also used to volunteer at her grandmothers nursing home and her church. She is the mother of four children.
Dawn Wieczorek, Assistant Operations Manager, South Bend
Recently promoted to Assistant Operations Manager, Dawn has been one of the Supervisors of the South Bend office for over ten years. She has also been recently promoted to Employee Incentive Coordinator. Dawn has always been extremely dedicated to her employees and everyone around her. Dawn’s hobbies include writing poetry, reading and time with family. She is a wife and the mother of two sons. dawn@performancep.com
Jennifer Jones, Sales Associate, Northwest Indiana
Jennifer started her career with Performance Plus over 16 years ago. She has been a dedicated employee and has a wealth of knowledge of janitorial supplies. Her cheerful personality and committment to provide excellent customer service has made Jennifer an asset to our company. Robert Beckett, Window Division Manager
Rob started as a window washer in 1984 and was promoted to Supervisor in 1999. Rob has been serving as our Window Division Manager for over 4 years and has done a great job providing excellent work and customer service. Rob's hobbies include boating, fishing and hunting.
